Described Visual Identity
Created with conversation.
The Boston word mark was made by having a conversation over an individual’s favorite trip to their favorite city. The serif font was chosen to reflect the strong history of architecture in Boston and the brick roads to walk on. It brings refinement and structure. The flowing and connecting lines reflect the walkable nature of the city. The green and leaves pay homage to the native greenery in the city.
Made to be used on memorabilia and/or souvenirs for the city of Boston. Carry your favorite place with you!
Denali National Park
Past and present brought to life.
The Denali National Park icon set was created to reflect three key aspect of the Alaska park that make it unique from any other.
Firstly, the park has unique plants and ways of operating. The park has a long history of huskies. They’re used both to work, but also as an attraction to the park. The puppies give a unique opportunity for guest interaction as well as dogs on the job. The middle of the animal’s face shows a large evergreen tree, a staple of the foliage at the park.
The hoof represents the unique animals found in the park, while also showing the frigid nature of the location. The mountain goats at Denali park scale the mountains, finding food, shelter, and making their way through life. The fur on the hoof is used in each icon to give harmony. It’s shown in the fur on the dog, the tuft on the hoof, and the ice on the mountain top.
The mountain with the sun shows the diverse weather at the park. While it can get to freezing temperatures, the highest recorded temperature in the park is 91 degrees F. There isn’t just ice and snow, but sunny days with flowing rivers.
